This year the Council accomplished ongoing and diverse projects through the efforts of council members and partners. The Council was able to continue the Oak Savannah restoration project in West Salem, and survey the watershed for invasive weeds. With partners and volunteers, they were able to offer a variety of education programs including public presentations at meetings and working with youth and volunteers on projects that enhanced the watershed while increasing participants’ knowledge and awareness.
