The Council includes: Bake Oven, Fifteenmile, Mosier, The Dalles, and White River
The Councils meet in Mosier the second Thursday in December, March, and September; and the last Thursday in May. They meet in The Dalles on the third Wednesday in January, February, March, May, April, October, and November.
The Dalles Area Watershed Council, with the help of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District, has completed an aquatic habitat survey, two steelhead spawning surveys, and installed stream flow and temperature monitors in Mill Creek. Data is available in real time on the internet at www.ifpnet.com. This information will be used to update the action plan with specific activities for enhancing the steelhead resource in that creek.
